Pros

Some amazing, hard working employees still work here

Cons

I have never witnessed a once great company crash and burn faster and harder than Edge. The technology was once unparalleled, the company was once led by incredible leaders who were passionate and cared about their employees. Fast forward, the product is broken, the founders have all been pushed out, other leaders have quit and yet, the Managing Director, CRO, and others have survived. Somebody quits or is fired daily, and moral is at an all time low. Ascential (the holding company) has completely and utterly ruined this organization. The Salt Lake office is disappearing and moving to Boston and there will certainly be more layoffs and people quitting. I can't warn you enough to stay away from this organization. The outlook is beyond terrifying and the CRO and Managing Director do not know how to right the ship.

Thank you for your review. There is no doubt mergers and acquisitions are very challenging, especially for legacy employees. Duncan, CEO for all of Ascential has stepped into the business to ensure a smoother transition during 2020 and we have tightened our local leadership team. Our business is more focused on product delivery, process, and structure - no doubt providing more stability for employees and reassurance that we are on the right track and moving forward in very positive ways.

Pros

I’ve been at Edge for over two years now and I really like working here. I think my team is full of great people and I love the opportunities I have to pursue different kinds of projects with some of the worlds largest brands. Would recommend

Cons

Typical growing pains for a brand whose parent company is going through M&A and rebranding

Pros

This was a pretty good company to work for. Benefits were comparable to other tech companies but good.

Cons

They want through some layoffs when they were preparing to be sold.
