Company going down hill - Leasing Consultant Edward Rose & Sons Employee Review

The company is switching over to UNIFORMS. They are telling us that it is better quality and will look more professional. My clothes that I wear now are professional and good quality. Its unfair that I now have to pay $45 each paycheck for clothes that I don't want or I will be fired. If they want us to wear higher quality clothing, then they should pay us more. $45 each pay check is a lot for us. That is grocery money. Day care money. Medial bills. Gas money for the week. They want us to act like we are selling luxury apartments, truth is they are not. There is a lot of maintenance issues and bug issues. They do not value employees at all. They claim to have an "open door policy" but whenever you try to have an intelligent conversation that doesn't match their brain-washed minds, they get combative and threatening. You cannot move up in the company unless you are friends with the higher ups. Any new ideas you have and bring to management, are ALWAYS shot down. They want us to be here early for work but we cannot clock in early. I'm not working off the clock.
