Pros
Flexible schedule, Downtime in between calls, Discount on rent/cable/internet services if you live at a company owned location. Call center is not 24 hours. No sales quota. Good for college students who need a way to pay bills.
Cons
The company culture here is horrendous. Management in any department and at every level fail to be effective leaders. The call center is located in the corporate office yet don't expect to be considered corporate employees. There are no written performance reports, or a detailed job description. Progressive ideas to improve service or employee relations fall on deaf and incapable ears. No human resource department so if you have a complaint about your superiors, you are expected to report them to your superiors (you can guess how that will play out). You will be expected to do work outside of your job title and when you request a promotion or raise, they will not discuss an amount until you have been in the role for 6 months to a year. Managements little experience leading people results in a exclusion feel rather than inclusion when it comes to company involvement.
