Pros
The leadership I expierenced through the Elavon/Union Bank alliance was excellent. We are lucky to be fed referrals from our banking partners instead of having to generate leads ourselves. The closing percentage is very high and the work/life balance is ideal. If you have worked in an outside sales organization, you should know that cold calling and lead generation is generally all self sourced and this company offers you the ability to partner with a Bank alliance which is feeding you WARM leads that close easily. Regarding "career opportunities"... there is little attrition so most people keep their sales position and never leave. If you plan on promoting to sales manager, you will have to work hard and be patient for a position to open because again, there is little attrition. My goal is to give transparent feedback here for anyone looking to apply. Most of the reviews you'll find have little explanation and aren't helpful.
Cons
It takes some time to build strong relationships with your banking partners to generate referrals. The bankers have many areas of focus so you have to be "top of mind" and show them your value in the partnership to help them meet their goals, as well as yours. This is not a con, just a realistic portrayal of the job itself.
