Pros

Focusing on very critical and complex Supply Chain problems Good office in Mountain View Good pay and benefits Free food Pets allowed Casual dress code and work culture

Cons

- Company is sinking and has no idea what to do and where to go. Added a lot of employees across the board in last 5-6 months and now more than half of the company is gone. Speaks to the problems! - CEO is a good Sales guy and can cast a powerful vision but that's about it. Zero experience in corporate governance and has no prior experience in managing any function within an organization. Makes the entire company dance based on individual deals which he can't close. He has surrounded himself with old timers ('Yes Man') who have no Enterprise experience. - Company is totally stuck from a direction standpoint and does not know where to go. Customers were sold solutions which are not going anywhere and they are unhappy and churning. CEO changes strategy every 3 months as he's clueless and makes ad-hoc strategy decisions based on a few deals. Highly immature. Hardly any customer is successful and sales has dried up. Burning cash like crazy. - Product is all smoke. Somehow CEO and sales guys sold it in the past. Company was selling consulting services all these years and now struggling immensely to become a product company. Other competitors are executing better and taking the market. - Management is a revolving door. New sales, engineering, product heads every 12 months. No one is able to settle.

Pros

Pay wasn't half bad and some times the lunches were decent

Cons

Lets be clear, Elementum is NOT a start up Per Nader's own words, Elementum has been around for awhile but never amounted to much. Almost the entire work force was laid off after years of supporting a garbage product. Then they attempted to re-invent themselves as a "supply chain" product. Within the yearish I was there it went from supply chain to a Service Now knock off and finally to piggy backing off of Snowflake to make themselves look like they are a legit data analytics company. And now "AI Driven Workflow"? These are just catchy words and phrases. It means nothing. Their product is garbage. Countless times you hear about big issues from big name customers and the "fix" was band aid on an gun shot wound. We were all told to log into the app store and give the app a 5 star rating, but it was just plain bad. The app is a glorified ticketing system. Add to it the relentless turn over. It seemed like once a week someone was fired and there was NEVER any plan in place to replace them. Within 1 month the main guy for software development was canned and then the director of engineering was gone, out of the blue, no warning. I ran all of the IT and was kept in the dark about most everything, including off boards. I was finally term'd after I turned down wanting to take on more work and roles without any additional pay in the engineering department. I am not an engineer and I did not want to be one, so I was let go. Fun story, Nader had the habit of just randomly showing up with new computers and I would literally be the last to know. There was a situation with a computer that we could not account for. This led to me having my final payouts being delayed for just about a month with absolutely no word from anyone from the company. I had to hound the HR rep almost weekly.
