Pros

Company parties, trips for top performers, company outings Lots of reqs to work on even though they tend to be low quality or VMS There are some really friendly people on the floor.

Cons

Where to begin? As a Recruiter, they promised me all sorts of things coming in the door. They described a culture that is very far from reality. I was told that it is about performance based on results and not about phone calls and metrics. This is just not true. No matter how many deals I close in a month if my phone calls/time are not on par I get spoken to. I was told that Eliassen was different from the "sweat shops" that exist in staffing. I was told this and then they hire and promote a large management team directly from KForce who seems to be installing the "KForce Way" of doing things which in my opinion is a "sweat shop" approach. Things have gotten so bad that I have lost track of the number of senior Account Executives and Recruiters who have left the company. They really sold me hard on how long their employees stay with them. Since I have been here I have seen a number of people with 10+years of experience here leave. Some of these people had big numbers on the board. Just doesn't make sense. It is a young and inexperienced staff of recruiters. I was told they like to hire people with experience but there are so many kids here right out of school. Again seems to be the Big Staffing Company approach. There is way more VMS work then I was lead to believe. So many positions that lack manager contact which as a recruiter is very frustrating. It is really to bad. I thought I was joining a quality organization but they seem lost now. I think they could still be great but they lack leadership and direction.

Pros

Eliassen Group has been a wonderful agency to work for over the years. Consistent, supportive, the pay is on par with the roles usually.

Cons

Contracting can be exhausting over time, no matter what the agency. No benefits, PTO, etc, can really eat at someone.

Thank you for sharing your feedback—we’re really sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. We aim to create an environment where new team members feel supported from day one, especially in client-facing roles like this. Our onboarding and training program is built in partnership with our learning & development team and informed by our top-performing sales professionals, and includes structured coaching, access to warm/qualified leads, and ongoing one-on-one support. That said, we know that every role—and every organization—isn’t the right long-term fit for everyone. When that happens, it’s important for us to listen and continue improving how we support and develop our people. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective and wish you the best moving forward.
