Pros

Pros: • The company presents itself as a polished, fast-moving environment. • Some team members were genuinely collaborative and helpful. • Pay was fair for the role, and I appreciated the exposure to client-facing systems.

Cons

Cons: • Eliassen has acquired several smaller companies over the years, and the lingering resentment from those acquisitions is palpable. The environment can feel fragmented — often driven by an unspoken “us vs. them” mentality between legacy Eliassen employees and those from acquired groups. • This divide creates a difficult dynamic for newer hires — you’re brought in to help, but you’re not fully brought in as part of the team. • There’s a serious lack of structured training, process documentation, and consistent support. You’re expected to onboard yourself and figure out nuanced, client-specific workflows with little guidance. • Collaboration often feels performative, and accountability is inconsistent — mistakes are penalized more harshly than they’re solved. • The company appears polished on the surface, but beneath that, many employees operate in isolation, trying to stay afloat in a disjointed system. ⸻ There’s a noticeable inner circle culture within certain departments. Management tends to rely heavily on a select group of “go-to” individuals, creating a dynamic where visibility and opportunity are limited for others. This favoritism can make it difficult to feel included, heard, or truly part of the team — especially if you’re not part of those preexisting relationships or legacy groups.

Pros

Eliassen Group has been a wonderful agency to work for over the years. Consistent, supportive, the pay is on par with the roles usually.

Cons

Contracting can be exhausting over time, no matter what the agency. No benefits, PTO, etc, can really eat at someone.

Thank you for sharing your feedback—we’re really sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. We aim to create an environment where new team members feel supported from day one, especially in client-facing roles like this. Our onboarding and training program is built in partnership with our learning & development team and informed by our top-performing sales professionals, and includes structured coaching, access to warm/qualified leads, and ongoing one-on-one support. That said, we know that every role—and every organization—isn’t the right long-term fit for everyone. When that happens, it’s important for us to listen and continue improving how we support and develop our people. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective and wish you the best moving forward.
