Pros

Culture, Culture, Culture! Every single person I have talked to is extremely professional and team oriented. It is evident how much they care about their employees. It is also so amazing to see how they have built such great team camaraderie is and how well everyone gets along. There are so many perks as well as far as traveling to amazing places for work, very competitive pay and benefits, and above all the impact you get to have on young students learning English throughout the country. The passion you get to have every day you go to work is something I am so excited for! There is a ton of growth opportunities. This is a place you can build a a career.

Cons

None that I can think of!

Congrats on joining the team! The people are what makes Ellevation so great. Everyone is passionate and committed to our mission. That's what bonds us together. Although many of us are remote, getting together twice per year for an offsite helps to establish our company culture. Welcome to the team and I look forward to getting to know you. - Winston Tuggle VP, People

Pros

One of the better places I've worked. It is remote, with one offsite per year that could have been an email, but you never feel micromanaged. The people are genuinely great, and they hire well; everyone's helpful and easy to work with. It also feels like the mission is real, not just something they slap on the website; you can tell your work actually matters and connects to something bigger. And the workload is reasonable, which honestly feels rare these days

Cons

That said, things have shifted in the last few years. There's a real sense of instability in the market right now, and it's bled into how work feels day-to-day, everything's got this undercurrent of urgency and edge that wasn't there before. Leadership hasn't been transparent about it either; the messaging tends to paint a picture that everything's fine, but it's pretty clear financially that it's not. After the layoffs last November, that same uneasy feeling is creeping back in, and it's hard to trust the reassurances when the pattern keeps repeating.
