Pros

Nice coworkers, nice office, feels welcoming

Cons

Leadership does not take responsibility for its failures and blames the doers Very behind on technology and slow to invest to help employees be more successful Becoming aggressive micromanagers without taking responsibility for poor leadership choices Taking all the perks of working here away

Pros

The whole organization is becoming more and more metric-driven and growth focused. With elements such as career mapping & KPI tracking, Empower Brands is truly focused on being objective and focusing on the employees. My manager is always so focused on my personal development!

Cons

My only con I can think of is the PTO structure for hourly employees. It's an accrual system that only earns you 80 hours per year until you hit your 3 year anniversary with the company. However, salaried employees get unlimited PTO and internal growth can be seen organization-wide, so it's not a large issue!
