Since I started working for Enchantment Resort in Sedona, Arizona, my goal was to grow in my career with the company. It was just over 6 years ago, that I started as a Guest Services Agent. I worked hard and after just one year, I was promoted to the Front Desk Lead. Approximately one year later, again, with my hard work, I was promoted to the Guest Services Supervisor. The growth didn’t stop there! From there, I was promoted to Guest Services Manager, and now, after being here for over six years, I am proud to say I am now the VIP Relations Manager. I am sharing this to show that Enchantment truly does invest in its employees’ wellbeing and professional growth if the determination and strong work ethic are there. Our revamped culture is one that celebrates the team’s successes. I believe our employees feel well compensated and valued. This culture is one that supports one another. Whether it be an individual or a department that needs help, each of us will often jump in and help with no questions asked. We often say to one another “one team one dream” is something that is truly practiced at this resort. The company’s mission statement is “working together to create and deliver extraordinary experiences.” I’ve been fortunate enough to be surrounded by a group of people who truly believe in the meaning of this statement. Our team does work together to do what is necessary to ensure that our precious resort we call “Enchantment” is associated with lifelong EXTRAORDINARY memories. My favorite part of working with Enchantment is that I get to be a part of the team that is remembered for creating unforgettable experiences for those who begin at our resort as complete strangers but end up leaving our resort as family.
