Pros

Entech is a company that values high performers. While there is accountability beyond specific role responsibilities, it also helps employees develop other skills, specifically those with an entrepreneurial spirit. During my tenure at Entech, I not only have been able to increase my technical skills, but I’ve been able influence and discuss corporate strategy inclusive of marketing approach, P&L accountability, sales, and revenue generation. This is not something you would have exposure to at a large Corporation, and it helps place a focus on the driving factors behind decisions. Choices I’ve made at Entech aren’t always framed within the lens of “this is what I need to make my role successful”, but rather “this is what I need to do to insure the success of others”. For folks that want templates, micromanagement, and someone to tell them what to do day to day, you should probably pass over Entech, as you’ll likely be frustrated by ambiguity and lack of edict style managers. For those of us that thrive in a less structured environment, Entech can be an incredibly rewarding place to work. Another aspect I enjoy about Entech is the people. I’ve established many close collegial friendships over the past 2 years, and truly enjoy solving challenges with co-workers, who I now consider friends. All of the senior leaders are extremely approachable, and there isn’t a sense of importance or hierarchy. Even Entech’s CEO did not carve out a specific office space, but rather chose to be on the floor, and around folks to promote an open atmosphere and environment.

Cons

One of the aspects about Entech I would change would be the vacation policy. Billing employees do get 4 weeks of PTO, but are expected to use PTO when Client sites are closed on Holidays. I’ve heard this policy is being revamped, and think it should be to compete with other companies in the surrounding area. I’d also like to see more transparency about departmental budgets – specific to training. I don’t think each group needs any specific allotment, but I do believe that employees that are contributing to company growth, should be afforded the opportunity to build on technical skill sets through training and certification courses without having to beg to attend them. I’m all for making the case as to why its important, but I think there should be an open forum to discuss.

Pros

Some insights about Entech and what makes it a uniquely rewarding organization to be part of. One of the most notable aspects of the company is its strong commitment to fostering a supportive, forward-thinking work environment that prioritizes both professional growth and environmental responsibility. Entech places a clear emphasis on sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, integrating them into daily operations and long-term strategy. This commitment not only reflects corporate responsibility but also gives employees a sense of purpose in contributing to meaningful, positive change. Equally important is the company’s approach to management and teamwork. Entech promotes a culture that avoids micromanagement and instead empowers employees to take ownership of their work. Team members are encouraged to collaborate openly, share ideas, and contribute thoughtful solutions to challenges. This creates an environment where innovation thrives and individuals feel valued for their perspectives. Rather than relying solely on top-down direction, employees are trusted to think critically, propose improvements, and actively participate in decision-making processes. This approach helps cultivate leadership skills across all levels of the organization, preparing individuals to grow into more advanced roles over time. Overall, Entech provides a balanced and engaging workplace where sustainability, collaboration, and professional development go hand in hand. It is an environment where employees are not only supported but also challenged to become proactive contributors and future leaders.

Pros

Working at Entech is a truly rewarding experience, primarily because of the company's exceptional culture that treats employees with the same high level of priority as their customers. As a remote worker, you feel completely supported and never isolated, largely because the leadership is professional, understanding, and always available when you need them. It is the kind of environment where you don't have to "fight" to go to work; instead, you find yourself genuinely anticipating what the day will bring. This "best-ever" job experience is defined by a sense of mutual respect and a feeling that the company and the employee were a perfect match from the start.

Cons

While the culture is overwhelmingly positive, the nature of the work requires a high degree of self-discipline and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Because the company is so dedicated to putting customers first, the workload can become intense, and employees must be self-motivated to keep up with professional expectations without face-to-face supervision. Additionally, being in a remote role that you love can sometimes make it difficult to "log off" and separate your personal life from your professional passion. For those who prefer a highly structured office environment or constant direct oversight, the autonomy required here might feel like a significant adjustment.

We are thrilled that you feel supported and never isolated in your remote role, and that our people-first approach and accessible leadership come through every day. You make a fair point about how easy it can be to stay on when you love the work, and we want to support healthy boundaries too. Thank you!
