Pros
EDG has an excellent collaborative culture with professionals from diverse backgrounds, which helps push our projects to be innovative and well-rounded. I enjoy learning from other team members and their areas of expertise and feel valued to contribute in my area of expertise. Opportunities to advance are abundant as we are growing. I love working in an environment where we truly want to impact the communities that we work with and make the world a better place. I also love the small family-like feeling of the company; everyone truly tries to help one another. The company values each individual and invests in our training and growth as professionals and as people. Leadership listens to the voice of their employees and clients. The work culture is flexible, fun, creative, and fast-paced.
Cons
I have worked with small and large engineering consulting firms and would not go back after experiencing this diverse range of talent and comradery from my co-workers. I am an outgoing engineer so I love this environment. We do have plenty of engineers on staff of all personalities - but if you don't want to be pushed a little bit outside of your comfort zone, this may not be the place for you. We thrive on performing in a unique way from typical consulting firms and we are positioning ourselves to do big things.
