Pros
Epic has a beautiful campus, many strong employees, and I learned a ton of transferable skills during my many years there.
Cons
The only thing Epic cares about is being the best electronic health record (EHR) in the world and they view all employees as replaceable. It doesn’t matter how much positive feedback you get or how many awards you receive, you will still plateau at a certain compensation level, you will still be forced to sign strict non-competes that may limit future opportunities, and your efforts will not be valued by HR or company leaders.
