Pros
Full stack design and development, development on multiple platforms, ownership of functional areas regardless of tenure, no big ladder to climb but increasing scope of responsibilities, developers involved in design, customer presentations, feedback, vendor relations, conferences, good vacation, great salary, get to work with very smart and competent developers, small team feel even at large company
Cons
Some lack of transparency, project planning can get interrupted by company wide initiatives, some processes are clunky (though there is continuous improvement),
