Pros

Pay is absurdly good and you never need to worry about raises / bonuses that reflect your efforts Mission statement is easy to get behind and it feels that the company truly cares about the success of their customers Work-life balance can be flexible. If you want to be a high performer, Epic can make that happen. If you want to pursue a strong work-life balance and only work ~42 hours per week, Epic can make that happen too.

Cons

Strong lack of remote work options that continually drive talent out Continual wave of new hires makes constant training and re-training of new employees frustrating. Can feel like Groundhog's day when someone joins, gets trained, works for a year, then quits only to be replaced by another new hire who undergoes the same cycle Company doesn't seem to trust employees to be adults and perform the duties of their jobs unless they are on campus Upper management is generally a black box and it's rare to get any full transparency regarding company processes from them
