Pros
you get to live on a paycheck to paycheck lifestyle after graduating college. Can you transfer to other companies - yes. Your experience here matters - not really. Work here doesnt count unless you are good and genuinely want to be a chemist working a 10 hr day in 8 hours
Cons
You come in at 5 AM/ 3PM, and DO NOT work remotely or you leave them (asked to do so in COVID after 1 month WFH). Case by case favoritism given to position holding folks to be remote Toxic Culture - you are a statistic here NOT an employee. Repetitive corrupt use of position/power to downplay your weaknesses to save them paying a bonus to you - manager tells me that I am sub-par and dont deserve it but made it sound like a favor done to me You will regret this job and the pathetic managers assigned to demotivate you, compare to other teams and say do better. Others get paid better - you DONT Management will reshuffle you to a team if youre stats are bad and then say goodbye Thrown under the bus - YOUR TEAM WILL find every reason to report you the manager -> close calls included. These "close calls" are the crux of a bad review They give promotion since they do not let me transfer into some department better suited to capabilities. Wasted 6 hours in meetings over futile efforts
