Pros
No one judges you for screaming in the freezers.
Cons
Low pay for the amount of work they pile on you. Supervisors don't care to relate to you and push for more results and faster analysis, all the while doing nothing to fix the equipment that is constantly breaking. Zero communication on some assays about changes made to your workload- they just expect you to be okay with running an extra couple hours of work with zero notice. There is little time to sit down and take a break to eat. Some days, the only time you get off of your feet is when you're on the toilet. The CEO is a pompous and arrogant waste of a human being, who can't be bothered to personally thank his employees for their hard work in prepping the lab for his visit, but has no problem taking away access to the one source of food in the building just to show off without having to run into us peasants.
