Upper management is out of touch, they don’t know anything going on inside the lab and make business decisions that make no sense. If you mess up ONE time, you don’t get your bonus and your merit raise is reduced for the following year. They get rid of half the lab staff and wonder why lab techs can’t release results in time. When something happens, they point fingers at supervisors and leads, there’s no job security when you eventually climb the ladder. They won’t increase anyone’s pay but they will force you to do mandatory overtime shifts because they are so behind due to getting rid of half their staff due to budget costs. But they keep getting more clients and busier every day. They pay techs and supervisors and QA terribly and promise promotions when years later say they don’t have enough money to open those positions. They can’t even pay for your pizza party for morale. Do yourself a favor and don’t work here, if you do, struggle for a max of a year to add to your resume and get out of there.
