Attending Everglades University has been one of the best educational decisions I've made. As a full time, Aviation Maintenance Lead working nights in the aerospace industry, I needed a university that understood the challenges of balancing work, family, and higher education. Everglades University exceeded my expectations. One thing that really stood out to me from the very beginning was how much they helped during the enrollment process. Instead of expecting me to track down transcripts from every school I had attended over the years, Everglades University took care of obtaining my records from previous colleges, technical schools, and even my high school. Anyone who has had to gather records from multiple institutions knows how difficult and time consuming that can be. Having the university handle that process removed a tremendous amount of stress and made getting started much easier. The one class at a time format made it possible to focus on learning without becoming overwhelmed, and the flexibility of the online program allowed me to continue advancing my career while earning my degree. The professors genuinely care about their students and consistently challenged me to think critically instead of simply memorizing information. They encouraged meaningful discussions and real world application of what we were learning. Another feature that impressed me was the level of support available outside the classroom. The counselors regularly schedule virtual meetings covering topics such as resume writing, cover letter development, networking strategies, interview preparation, and financial counseling. These sessions provide valuable guidance that helps students prepare for their careers while also making informed financial decisions. It's reassuring to know the university offers these resources to help students succeed both academically and professionally. What impressed me most was how practical the coursework was. Whether studying psychology, project management, business, or American literature, I found myself applying concepts directly to my leadership role in aviation. The assignments encouraged thoughtful analysis and helped me become a better communicator, leader, and decision maker. As a military veteran, I also appreciated the respect and support shown to those who have served. The staff was always professional, responsive, and willing to help whenever I had questions. If you're a working professional looking for a flexible, accredited university that truly supports its students from enrollment through graduation, I highly recommend Everglades University. From helping obtain transcripts before classes even begin, to providing career development resources and outstanding professors throughout the program, Everglades University has created an environment where students have every opportunity to succeed. My experience has been outstanding, and I am proud to be a student here.
