I've worked here for over 5 years and I've seen a lot of people come and go. Our management team has improved immensely and I can go to any of them if I have a problem. We are all a family here. Our residents get well taken care of. The bad reviews on here are most likely staff that didn't work to the best of their abilities. Or they were fired for their own negligence.

Cons

Yes, it's hard work and there's a lot to do. We knew that before coming into this profession so not really a con.

One of the best parts of working as an Activity Assistant is seeing the smiles on my residents' faces. It's absolutely heartwarming and brings me so much happiness knowing I can make a positive difference in their day. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. ❤️

Cons

One of the hardest parts of working as an Activity Assistant is watching residents decline in health or lose their independence. It can be emotionally difficult to build close relationships and then experience loss. Some days are physically and mentally exhausting, but despite the challenges, being able to bring comfort, joy, and companionship to my residents makes it all worthwhile.
