Pros

There are a number of IT staffing & consulting companies around, but Quantum is a distinguished bright shiny star, at par and one of the Best company to work for according to my experience. They are very focused on providing innovative and efficient technologies and solutions to help customers succeed in their business goals. They also provides great growth opportunities for their employees/consultants. I worked for them in the US for one of their top client and never had any issues of any sort from the management or colleagues. In middle of my assignment, I got some family emergency and so I had to move back to Canada with family. I feel very sad to have left Quantum as they had been the best company ever that I worked for in the US (if I compare to all other consultant companies out there). I must admit - I am a fan of Quantum's transparency, fair dealing and its policies of going above and beyond for employee and client needs. If you are a consultant out there looking for a trustworthy company, then look no further... Quantum is the one you need.

Cons

None. And I must repeat here.. If you are a consultant out there looking for a trustworthy company, then look no further... Quantum is the one you need.

Pros

1. The managers and the HRs are easily accessible 2. Visa transfer process is extremely swift, Excyl team are experts in Visa transfer and stamping related processes 3. They provide options to work on full time or contract basis 4. They have a good amount of Federal projects

Cons

1. You are hired for a specific project, if you are not able to join it for any random/legal reasons then you are on your own to find a contracting project/client for yourself and will not be paid until then 2. It’s not like any MNC where you are paid even when you are on bench – no project, no pay – even if you were hired on a full-time role 3. It’s strictly a contracting company, you will not be paid if the client hasn’t paid them for any reasons 4. You are not paid for the current month, instead the payroll runs from 16th of the previous month to 15th of the current month. So, if you have joined on March 15th, then you will be getting your first salary on May 1st for the period of 16th of March to 15th of April 5. The number of vacation/sick leave days are extremely less compared to any standard MNC – 10 days of vacation and 3 days of sick leaves 6. Salary is paid on a monthly basis unlike most places where it’s paid bi-weekly
