Pros

In just my first year, I saw a lot of internal hiring, lateral job changes across departments to better-suited roles, and some investments made to develop employee skills. Career growth matters here. Extra Space Storage is full of fun people who live the company's core values. Plus, the office space at the national headquarters in Cottonwood Heights, UT is pretty cool.

Cons

Compensation and benefits are "competitive" when compared to other companies. Not great.

Pros

The position is easy to do and the tasks are simple. The work relationships with the store managers and my dtls are excellent. My District Manager is always available to make sure I'm doing my job and gives amazing advice on how to advance in the company with kpi updates.

Cons

Deal with a lot of stress on the job. Have to work behind a person who may not have done the job they were supposed to do.
