Pros
Corporate Leadership- it feels like the top brass understand that the frontline employees are valuable, and are the face of the company. Compensation - Very good compensation for the positions in my opinion, I have never once said " They don't pay me enough to do that" Work/life balance - Very good, no nights , every Sunday off. I would prefer to have 2 days off per week in a row, but am appreciative of having every other Monday off as my husband is a truck driver on the road for 2 weeks at a time. I would never get to see him otherwise so I am very grateful.
Cons
Pretty much the same as with any company - Lower level leadership is a popularity contest and very much like junior high. If you are your Dm's favorite you can do/say anything regardless of actual facts and or truth to the matter. Trying to address performance issues is not worth the effort and stress if you are not part of "the in crowd". It is much easier to keep your mouth shut and just redo the work of others. Love my JOB, but there is no communication at the local level, attendance is not monitored nor addressed, advancement opportunities are great - again, if you are part of " The in crowd".
