      Pros

      Able to take charge of resource personnel. Exposure to hands on medical management. Work closely with Doctors, Nurses, Police and Fire.

      Cons

      Most money is made on overtime. Employees on the EMS side are extremely expendable. Leadership is not what it should be in regard to those at the top of the EMS hierarchy.
