Every company I have reviewed has had a dip in ratings in the last two years. The stress is pervasive. This company is a fantastic place to start your career and retire with too, as the retirement benefits are head and shoulders above consulting firm standards. Just some of the pros: -Likeminded, good faith colleagues. -Unrivaled training and a wealth of information spanning more than a century to absorb, if you commit yourself to it. (Hint commit yourself to it and you won’t regret it). -Insurance industry is stable and recession resilient. FM Global is doubly as resilient. -You will travel, and be wined and dined like no engineer in your graduating class. -A good faith approach to business that asks for a high level of commitment in delivering a high standard of work (If you are the kind of person that doesn't floss every night you probably won't want to work here) -A great starting salary that doesn’t keep up with the competition over time but pre-COVID was more than compensated for with lower workloads and substantially more engineering training and support.
