Pros

good educational opportunities.

Cons

poor personnel policies regarding benefits. No paid sick benefits. Unrealistic quotas for home visits. unethical mid and lower level management regarding frequency of treatment and when client can be discharged. Will keep client on program way too long for monetary benefit. Top management unaware of what goes on regionally. Promotions are to candidates that tell you what you want to hear no matter how inexperienced.

FOX Rehabilitation Response

Appreciate your recognition of our educational opportunities as we are always encouraging our clinicians to improve their clinical skills! Quotas given for home visits are based on market analysis that determines how many visits a clinician will be able to complete in a given territory. FOX only brings on clinicians if we are confident we will have enough patients in a manageable area so the clinician can reach their quota. Our goal is to keep clinicians in as condensed of a territory as possible to improve efficiency and provide work life balance to the clinician. FOX always aims to deliver clinically appropriate care and has an extensive quality assurance team to be sure patients are discharged at the appropriate time. It is highly suggested to contact your team's Regional Quality Assurance Liaison to discuss proper discharge management/planning. Our culture continues to be our top priority as we expand into new territories. Many of the individuals in management roles began as full time treating clinicians and aim to uphold the values that began the practice and allowed FOX to grow.

Pros

The biggest pros are the flexibility and autonomy. Being able to create my own schedule has greatly improved my work-life balance, and I appreciate being able to treat patients closer to home. FOX also provides a lot of resources and support for its clinicians. From continuing education opportunities to clinical guidance and helpful treatment resources, I always feel like I have what I need to provide quality patient care.

Cons

One challenge with home care is that last-minute patient cancellations do happen, which can leave unexpected gaps in your day. However, because of the flexible scheduling, it’s usually easy to reschedule those visits later in the week, making it much easier to stay on track with patient care.
