Pros

There are some great co-workers here but nothing outweighs the negatives.

Cons

The lack of respect in this office is incredible. The abuse I experienced still gives me nightmares. The company expects you to work all these unpaid extra hours, and you are not even thanked for all the extra work that you do. On top of everything you are treated badly. You can see people crying in the office all the time. There are some truly broken people running this company. The culture is toxic, it feels more like high school than a professional work environment. There is nothing but negativity and favoritism. The stress level on a daily basis is ridiculous. Several employees, myself included, actually became physically ill because of all the stress. There is no direction and poor management. A lot of time is wasted on reports no one reads. There is also no loyalty towards employees who have been there for years. Some managers are great, but there are others who share nothing but animosity. For example, one of my managers had no respect for me or anyone else, she had emotional fits, and even went as far as to question my ability to read and write the english language (even though I have a minor in english). She was rude and crass and had favorites. She refused to speak to me for the last 6 months I worked there, and I could go on. All the promotions I was promised were never given to me. HR and Upper Management turn a blind eye and never address the abuse or any real issues that go on in the company. If you have a life or family it is expected to be sacrificed. No one is truly happy. All your personal relationships will suffer, if you have kids you will never see them, anyone that is married has a strained relationship or divorced because the office demands 100% of your time. Everyone works long hours, takes work home, and works on the weekends. This office used to be a great place to work but now there is only negative energy and fusterated employees. Please disregard the FAKE reviews any positive reviews aren't real. People are let go almost on a weekly/monthly basis, there is no job security. If you care about your health, family, or have any self respect RUN AWAY. The Morgan Stanley Cafeteria and the office views are not worth the emotional and physical damage this place causes. There is little innovation, none of the current systems truly work and the company refuses to invest in the programs that do work. The company is really behind and not on the same playing field as other fashion companies. You will not learn anything new or relevant here, I really regret the years thinking things would get better and believing the lies told to me. Don't make the same mistakes, look elsewhere... anywhere else but here.

Pros

Repetitive work, Predictability when it comes to assets needed.

Cons

Leadership & Culture Leadership operates in a fear-based environment where employees feel pressured to comply with directives — even questionable ones — out of concern for job security. There is little psychological safety to push back or offer alternative perspectives. Innovation & Strategy The company heavily relies on prior-year benchmarks with minimal appetite for experimentation or fresh thinking. The marketing team in particular tends to recycle strategies rather than develop new creative approaches, leaving the brand feeling stagnant. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion During COVID-19, senior leadership — including the CEO — failed to demonstrate empathy or awareness toward Asian employees during a period of heightened racial tension. This tone from the top had a lasting impact on trust and morale. Brand & Influencer Relations The company's reluctance to take a stance on key cultural and social moments cost them meaningful influencer partnerships. In an era where brand authenticity matters, the silence was noticed — and acted upon. Workload & Resources Employees are regularly given heavy workloads without the tools, headcount, or support needed to execute effectively. Much of the effort feels performative rather than impactful, leading to burnout and disengagement. Career Growth Advancement tends to favor those at the top rather than the people driving day-to-day results. Contributions from individual contributors often go unrecognized in terms of promotion or compensation. Team Dynamics The internal culture is highly competitive in an unhealthy way — colleagues are more likely to deflect blame than collaborate, creating a siloed and politically charged work environment.
