Family Care Center has worked hard to establish a culture and community that we take great pride in. It is important to note that a former employee has posted multiple false reviews about our company using different accounts, which is a direct and ongoing violation of Glassdoor's user policies. We have been actively addressing this issue and have strong reasons to believe that this particular review is not genuine. We welcome authentic reviews and constructive criticism and are committed to understanding any concerns raised. Our company takes great pride in providing an exceptional experience to our employees, clients, and their families. For more information about our company, we encourage readers to reach out to us directly at careersfeedback@fccsprings.com.

Pros

Collegial work environment and good support from supervising psychiatrists

Cons

I worked at FCC for 3.5 years and saw it expand across various states outside of Colorado; saw in real time the shift from being “provider-focused” to bottom-line focused and appeasing the private equity investors. *After 3.5 years of experience with the company I was still making the same salary as new grads that were hired; there is no clear structure/path for salary progression. The only people earning quarterly bonuses for productivity do so because they hold concurrent leadership positions which significantly lower their RVU expectations *Many providers feel discouraged to take PTO because time off does not count towards quarterly RVU expectations; the expectation is that you’ll make those RVUs up by overbooking your schedule at the risk of burnout *There is an unnecessary push to put your patients in TMS which many providers find to be excessive and inappropriate *There is a very high turnover rate due to inability to attract/maintain support staff including receptionists and medical assistants; throughout my 3.5 years here there were frequent periods of weeks-months where I had to perform additional administrative/support functions on top of seeing my full panel of patients which also contributed to heavy burnout *Regional leadership is out of touch and it felt like they were actively making our lives harder *Despite quarterly feedback/clinic satisfaction surveys throughout my years there as an employee, it felt like there were never any tangible changes/improvements that alleviated any concerns. By the end of my tenure I avoided filling these out altogether because it seemed like a waste of time.
