The company isn’t honest about the bonus structure, which rarely occurs unless you burn yourself out. The bonus structure is intentionally confusing. They aren’t upfront about the drop in salary after 6 months. The benefits aren’t good and expensive. They don’t support best practices for the therapists and no clinical offered and it has to be on your own time. (There is a very small stipend for training that might help with the cost of one & 2 days off for a training/year)
The staff is disposable in their eyes and there is no support for professional development or guidance. They say they are open to feedback and suggestions but are critical and dismissive if an idea doesn’t align with their plan or interests. The leadership is arrogant and cliquish, secretive and looks down on anyone who doesn’t prescribe meds.
The leadership avoids regulation and is careless about ethical standards to the detriment of the therapists and the agency. They regularly refer to “the FCC way” and no one knows what that means, but it appears to mean they will do what they want, how they want, regardless of how they affect the staff, regardless of accountability, and regardless of what anyone or any regulation says. This is a toxic culture.
