Pros
Depending on your manager/success you can be trusted to run your sales region in the way you wish vs being forced to hit metrics. Good people who work at the business who care to help. You can easily get access to senior leaders and product people to be involved with sales calls and meet customers.
Cons
The only thing that shuffles more than the C-levels is the Sales SVP which they seem to change on an annual basis. This leads to an annual overhaul of the sales org from the comp plans to the territories. This lack of consistency makes it so you have to build from the ground up every year rather than building momentum. Lowered comp plan this year over last. Quickly shrinking territories with low lead flow. You are expected to create most of your own pipe and getting any inbound leads is like pulling a lottery ticket. This is fine due to how high they compensate reps, but they are adding reps at a rate higher even though not many reps are hitting their comp plans. This does not seem like a recipe for success and I see there being a lot more turnover yet again in the sales org.
