Favoritism, Toxic Work Environment, no room for upward movement - Security Officer Fayetteville Technical Community College Employee Review

If you don't already know someone in the department be prepared to pick up the "favorites" slack, pick up all the calls so they don't have to call the favorites, etc. They block you from upward movement so they can get their "friends" into those positions. Some peoples' schedules get accommodated, while others are told to "figure it out" even if you're a single parent. Do not recommend unless you have an open flexibility for scheduling and don't care about doing other people's work. Can get written up for using your own PTO too.
