Pros

• Unlimited PTO • Remote first culture • Quick headcount growth , if that's something you're into

Cons

Notice the pattern of reviews for Fetch on this site! A bad review gets posted and then a bunch of great ones with very little detail get put up in the few days after. I experienced this when I was there. Fetch sees the bad reviews and ask employees to go on sites like this to average out the bad numbers. As far as cons: • Boys club - women don't advance nearly as fast as [white] men. • Don't promote from within nearly as much as they should. More often than not, open roles are filled externally, rather than looking at those people who are ready to advance. • There were at least 2 "crunch" periods last year where weekend work was required for several weeks. It was also announced very last minute. Instead of paying employees for the extra time they put in, the company gave out $20-$30 gifts each weekend in the form of snacks, gift cards, etc. I would have been preferred to be PAID! • It's clear that some people in leadership are just there to get their big payout when the company gets acquired. They don't care about employees, just about making the company LOOK good to investors.

I'm so sorry to hear your experience at Fetch wasn't positive. We *never* ask employees to leave positive reviews on Glassdoor -- we welcome and appreciate both positive and critical feedback here, as it helps us get better. We are serious about prioritizing the development of strong women, and we have many! We have accomplished so much, and we are always looking for ways to continue improving. - Rachel Olchowka, Chief People Officer

Pros

Good benefits, great pto policy, great rewards system, on paper the company looks great

Cons

-incompetent leadership (not all, but a good portion) -bait and switch style hire process -they don't have solid direction on where they are headed so it's a lot of top-down confusion -leaders have heads in the clouds but don't know how the tactical things happen, so there are two different realities amongst execs and the lower level employees doing the work -pay comparisons are questionable -microaggressions, bullying, and bias run rampant as it's not much diversity -absolutely no one knows who does what, so you will spend hours or days finding the right person just to get a task done OR question answered. Causing unnecessary delays and tension. -Because of the ai first nature, a lot of people are hired that don't have a clue what they are doing tactically. So conversations and next steps are written and fueled by ai. -Everyone talks like walking philosopher degrees with unnecessary filler and jargon to SOUND like they know what they are doing, but not enough tactical skill. Semantics are huge here. Because of this, ALOT of miscommunication and confusion happens. -They don't have the proper organization or management tools, just slack heavy... as you can imagine chaos breeds in this space. Everyone says "Welcome to Fetch" instead of just hiring the right leaders to bring structure asap. -The focus is too much on doing whatever to get the job done and hit revenue goals.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. While we are glad to hear that you've enjoyed the benefits and PTO, we are truly sorry to read what you've outlined in the rest of your review. Most importantly, we want to address your mentions of microaggressions, bias, and bullying. We care deeply about creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for everyone at Fetch, and we take your concerns seriously. We would be grateful for the opportunity to look into this further. Please consider reaching out confidentially to our People Experience team at px@fetchrewards.com so we can support you. We also really appreciate your candid feedback regarding role clarity and leadership direction. We understand how a disconnect between strategy and daily execution can cause unnecessary stress, and your insights are helpful as we continue working to improve our internal structure and communication. Thank you again for your honesty and for helping us recognize where we need to grow.
