Pros
• Smart co-workers • Cool offices
Cons
Culture at Fetch experienced a massive decline recently. Politicking and gossip was introduced and encouraged by recent adds in senior roles from FAANG and other large companies, further adding to toxicity. Leadership is constantly just chasing new things rather than focusing on a core value prop that can be executed on. Product and tech leaders do not act on culture surveys, despite performative acknowledgement of concerns. You can expect interaction from leadership to be purely transactional — "What have you done for me lately?" While demonstrating complete disinterest in willingness to coach up and retain talent. Large amounts of time and money were wasted on a Super Bowl ad with no meaningful outcome and even more was wasted to try and ramp new leaders in necessary job functions that often cause constant swirl with their "big ideas." They also weaponize PIPs while proudly touting an arbitrary metric on how many folks have emerged from a PIP at Fetch. A warning for top performers who aren't used to being unnecessarily disciplined.
