The job responsibilities did not match the role description, which led to confusion and misalignment from day one. Management often lacked technical understanding of the systems they were overseeing, yet still set goals and made requests that were unfeasible or misinformed. There was a noticeable lack of data governance—particularly in sales reporting—which made it difficult to build reliable reporting or drive informed decision-making.
