Pros
The best pay you'll probably receive without a degree.
Cons
But considering the madness and unexpected crashes you deal with from time to time (almost constantly since COVID-19) They almost have to pay you that amount to keep from getting a high turn over rate. The supervisors have their favorites (even though they claim otherwise). They refuse to work with you if there was a emergency. (Or loss of child care due to COVID) They picked and chose who was able to work at home. Half the people didn't even have kids to worry about. We were not seated 6ft apart. The bathroom sinks and soap dispensers never seemed to work. Not to mention they lied to me and said there was NOT 1 single case of COVID, when in fact there was. People coughing and sneezing throughout the building and were stuck in a isolated building with no filtration or ventalation. They constantly pressured you about numbers. Even though my Customer Experience was always over 100%, I still was constantly criticized about my AHT (average handling time) and hold time. They have no empathy whatsoever no matter the circumstances. The point system is ridiculous. No matter how the much my team mates loved me or the customers I was still ridiculed on my numbers. You shouldn't be criticized for how long the wait is for another dept. And because I struggled in those 2 areas they refused to let me train in other areas were I would have definitely succeeded in. I loved the customers, but if all your numbers wasn't right you would be threatened with disciplinary actions. It was sometimes dreadful and almost unbearable to be hounded everyday. Im not a child. My surveys proved that the customers loved me more than the company itself. So was I really the problem? Oh yea let's not forget about being given a 30 min lunch it takes 5 mins to get there, only to stand and wait in line for your food and the wait again to pay for it 15 mins at the very least. Don't come back on time thats a point.
