Pros
You get to meet a lot of smart people, make friends and have a nice work environment. Some get to work with cool tech and on projects that have a future.
Cons
Product management is almost non existent, stuck with old views or inexperienced juniors. Dev management is lacking in, well ..., management skills since most come from being developers and did not receive relevant management training or had a proper ramp up of such skills. All this leads to a lot of no future projects with poorly sized teams, bad synch between teams, poor actual business insight.
