Pros

- less micromanagement - pay is decent, comparable to the market - friendly tech leads

Cons

- Not much of opportunity for learning - Very few dev teams - Less social company - Less opportunity to question leadership's decision(even some team lead's) - HR is toxic, does not help improve lives of employees - afaik, none of the departments(eng, pre sales, post sales, support team) are happy - no WFH policy - worklife balance is very bad, saturday working is usual, compulsory 10 hours - adhoc developing to please customers - pre planned development is very low - code you write will reach customers in 10 years :( - since software upgrade process is cumbersome - NO upfront investment in company level - Only product maintenance is done by most employees - paid parking - no manager only tech leads. Tech leads do clumsy job of managers which is sad for both employees and tech leads - Variable Term Pay(your 10% of the pay which is part of your salary pacckage varies by company performance) So the salary you are promised is not even safe. Company pays out this VTP every 6 months so if you leave the company in a 5th month you will lose your (own) pay.

Pros

Decent compensation and some decent people to work with

Cons

Fiorano used to be a wonderful place to work in 5-7 years back. There was some really good technology built within the company. Now its just a slave shop run by a lavish CEO who does not care anymore about his employees as he cares about his company. The company is sent to the dogs and there is absolutely nothing remotely interesting happening within the company. Growth and appreciation is determined by this one person who knows too little of what is happening with the product. It does not know how to treat its employees. Where have you heard of saturdays being an official working day?. All in All, stay away and if possible run away.
