Pros
Developer gets to work on java core code.The work is like,the more you work,the more knowledgeable you become.After 2 years, one would be really good at algorithms,java and best practices.Very friendly environment and knowledgeable leads
Cons
After 2 years,things become redundant.Since it has its own product which is deployable,not many oppurtunities would be found working with new technologies.There is legacy code,hence not oppurtunity in learning spring,spring boot,hibernate,databases which the market looks for .There is zero scope for learning high level design and architecture or scaling as the product is already built and its deployable one on system which works independently.
