Very stressful environment. Directors are under extreme stress from the CEO (who is under extreme pressure from the primary investor) who in turn, take it out on their direct reports. The program schedule for first launch is completely unrealistic, which creates this stressful environment. Often times, when show stopping issues come up, an ad hoc, half thought out solution is what results, not an engineered solution backed up by analysis. Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't. Work/life balance pretty much non-existent.
