While some of the coworkers are nice, the company is not diverse, and the boy's club attitude can be seen in almost every meeting and interaction Was upfront in the interview process about my experience and knowledge and was promised training. Instead I was just observing other people do what I was supposed to be doing until it was time for me to try. The onus of learning was entirely on me and the questions I chose to ask, with none of the promised aid anywhere in sight. From day 1, you'll be given at least 5 tasks and expected to figure out how to execute them in an unfamiliar environment. You'll feel like you're bothering everyone you ask for help/advice because they're all incredibly overworked (and you will be too in a month or so). Found out I (not a white man) was making $4,000 less per year than a white male counterpart hired two months before me for the same job with the exact same background. I had negotiated my salary up $3,000 from the initial offer. He did no negotiation.
