Pros
You'll learn a lot from the multitude of projects going on right now. You'll have some good colleagues if you're in the right team (engineering wise). Insurance plans are pretty good.
Cons
Hard to build faith given the CEO turnover. 3 primary CEOs in the last 5 years? ...says a lot. The test site is toxic and runs rampant with sexism and bigotry at the tech level (to be expected of TX?). The Cedar Park offices are better...spacecraft building is a pressure cooker though and suffers from turnover and additional toxicity from leadership. You'll be underpaid for the amount of work you'll be responsible for when comparing the roles across the industry. They claim they did an extensive study on total compensation around the industry, but then never released the results and said they were "in the ballpark"....
