Opportunity to advance and excel in other areas of the company. The IT department has great leadership and is treated more like a support desk to the shops opposed to your typical call center. Employees are always willing to help each other out in all aspects of the company.
Cons
Shop managers often work 60 plus hours a week leading to a bad work life balance. Shop employees are underpaid for what is expected of them leading to a high turnover. Bad corporate decisions have recently led to corporate lay-offs in order to appease the shareholders. With new leadership and the announcement of CEO retiring this year the company appears to be getting rid of the old and bringing in the new. Good or bad Cash America is changing leaving some left to wonder and current employees not sure where they stand.
