Pros
Great co-workers and team. Understanding direct supervisors who are responsive to demands outside of work during work hours. For back office, regular and consistent schedule of 8-5 M-F that ends when work ends. Decent PTO package. There are benefits, which is better than having no benefits.
Cons
The benefits could be more competitive, especially the health insurance, given what you're paying for it. Compensation/salary not at all competitive and on the lower end. Archaic technology and systems that make regular tasks more difficult. Poor interdepartmental communication since converting to First Horizon from Iberiabank - lots of unhappy workers and customers, and rightly so. Not a lot of transparency or communication from the top either who come off perversely unfamiliar with the day-to-day goings on of the workers who keep their bank running. TD Bank buying First Horizon the weekend after full systems conversion left sour taste in everyone's mouths after past two years working under stress of pandemic and previous merger. Almost comically disillusioning. No need to return to office for any department other than retail after pandemic but it was forced. Not a lot of room for advancement.
