Pros

Food carts Scenery Free fruit

Cons

there is no real support anymore just the illusion of it. Everything looks great in surveys because everyone already knows better than to say anything. It either goes nowhere or just makes things worse. It constantly feels like you have a target on your back no matter how well you perform, you can have good reviews and still feel like youre one typo away from being the next problem. Partnership is basically gone, it used to feel like teams actually worked together but now it feels like processing carries everything and takes the blame for everything. The closing error system is out of control and a lot of it is coming from how closing is operating, processors are getting hit for minor things, that are blown completely out of proportion and treated the same as actual issues. If the expectation is basically perfection in a constantly changing file with multiple people touching it. Then just hire robots There is a clear issue with how errors are assigned and everyone knows. Leadership has enabled a level of handholding in closing, monetary, and servicing, essentially all other departments that just pushes more work onto others, more steps, more back and forth, more wasted time, and more chances to get hit with even more errors. If you want to dispute one thats on your own time, so youre either keeping up with your pipeline or stopping to defend your own work and if you dont have time to fight it it still counts against you anyway. The expectations have never changed to match the level of work that is now required in this job which grows every other week. The dynamic between teams is bad, its not collaboration its blame and power plays by people who are not even managers . The irony of this is they added more work for closing having to add all these petty errors than it took for them to take 1-2 seconds to correct a typo. There are still good people here but none of them are in positions that can actually change anything. There is a clear disconnect in expectations, vs reality of this job. acting like this is sustainable is really hard to take seriously. I also dont understand how management expects employees coming in from the DCU side to accept this type ridiculous error setup because its not realistic and its not something that any other credit unions are doing. We look ridiculous.

Pros

Generous employee loan discount, hybrid work schedule, professional development opportunities, Fresh fruit is a nice touch.

Cons

Small desks and crowded to co-workers which creates distraction and difficulty at times to concentrate due to noise. Hotelling desk locations often "raided" of equipment. One day you'll get there and you're all set and the next time docking station of other equipment is gone.

Pros

Nice location, easy access, good D&I

Cons

I worked here for two years, the Pay scale was so low you had to work two jobs if you’re a single person. They have the customer service representatives doing sales, and then find ways to not give sales bonuses because your customer service levels aren’t high enough. I had worked in customer service for eight years and I’m still in customer service at another institution and never have I seen such ridiculous rules. If you have to send a request to another department and they call them back your first call resolution is crap. And remember this is a sales team so they pay you so little and work really hard to not give you a bonus. I talked to a Work coworker who stated that now they don’t get their quarterly bonuses because they have to be at 110% of First call resolution to get the quarterly sales. Bonus makes zero sense.
