I guess you could be exposed to the financial field, depending on your position. Offered hybrid (remote on Fridays) but recently removed that option.
Cons
The management style is highly controlling. It’s possible to physically be at work, merely pretending to be productive by moving your mouse and typing, and still be seen as a successful employee. Management shows little concern for actual productivity and treats employees like children. Recently, they revoked the remote work option on Fridays, claiming it would enhance the culture (which we know isn't true!) and gave employees less than a month to adapt. They frequently lie, attributing last fall's layoffs to performance, but later admitted other factors were involved. They break agreements with employees hired as fully remote workers by forcing them to work onsite, even when there are legitimate medical reasons. They use Sapience Monitoring Software to track every computer move, doing so without notifying employees or obtaining written consent, which is illegal. Publicly, they say Sapience is used to improve efficiency, but privately, it’s used to single out non-conforming employees for termination. Upper management runs the company like a dictatorship, led by Frank Bisano, who has recently taken a role leading the Federal Social Security System (God help us!). They take pride in being considered one of the most admired companies, but it's unclear who they asked because employee reviews have worsened. Many complaints have been filed with the New Jersey Department of Labor regarding labor law violations, including the illegal use of Sapience and breaking work agreements with employees.
