Pros
I'm finally earning what I knew I was worth! Leaderships opportunities are real. I now have options. I came from a management background in retail. I was working for a fortune 100 company that prided themselves in a positive culture. The amount of support and development I received in my first 5 months surpassed that of 5 years at my previous company. I received a 12.5% raise and a management promotion in my first 70 days! (Most jobs offer a 5% annual raise and a political maze/rat-race to receive a promotion) This is an amazing career path for a driven individual who is motivated and interested in paying it forward. You have to work really hard for the first few years. Then you've set yourself up for success and an ability to financially cruise control through life. I have had several friends who have also joined the agency after seeing my success.
Cons
I wish I had found this company sooner. This career is NOT for lazy people. Sorry, I can't say it much simpler than that. This is NOT a career for someone who is comfortable with the mundane W-2 lifestyle- where you exchange your time for a predictable paycheck.
