Pros
My district manager was great
Cons
They have no loyalty to the boots on the ground. As a manager you are there to take the fall for anything that goes wrong whether you were involved or not. Make sure you memorize the handbook and I do mean memorize every line, because at any point you could be called by HR to fire someone or be fired, and they will pull a line from there. But if you as a manager want to fire someone even with a line from the handbook, you will still need a dissertation of evidence just to win you a write up. They are constantly rolling out new information. They will give a 20 minute online learning about it and then you are expected to execute flawlessly. They will never revisit the information again or give you any additional training on it. Good luck. And if for any reason you have any thoughts of your own, keep them to yourself. They will only see your thoughts as a challenge/threat. Just blindly follow if you want to get anywhere in this company.
