Pros
- Varied job role - learn new things every day which means you are always progressing in the role - Quick career progression if you want it - prove yourself at consultant level and opportunities will open up for you - Fun work atmosphere with lots of team nights out, training session, summer and winter balls and conferences which really keep you up to date with where the company is heading - amazing perks with discounted travel/fam trips but also within the company such as healthwise and moneywise to make sure you are happy at work and outside of work - feels nice to be part of someones special holiday and that they have come to you for help - lots of opportunities in the flight centre group - prove yourself at consultant level and you can move around within the company
Cons
People who are complaining about the atmosphere within this company are wrong - yes buzz nights are compulsory and we try and encourage people to bond outside of work but no-one is forced to drink or stay out late if they dont want to! From working in small unsociable companys before I would definitely recommend Flight Centre more! At the last conference they gave away 5 holidays including business class flights and tours in Australia! If this doesn't sound like you then don't apply! - The only cons could be if you dont think this is a sales role because it is and there is no denying that - however if you are good at your job you dont need to rip people off to earn your commission - It takes a while to get to a good level of consultancy but if you are committed and hard working you will get there
