Steady Paycheck. Benefits for your family. Good people in the instructor group.
Cons
Low Pay. Low moral. No trust in management. Managers who keep their jobs even when completely incompetent. Long hours, too many days in a row with no comp time policy. Talk about quality of life ends immediately when one more client can be squeezed onto the schedule. Mangers treat instructors like machines. Doesn't matter if someone quits. Their workload will be spread to the people who have to stay around. Takes months to get a new instructor hired. Have had applicants turn down job offers after surviving the interview process because of the low pay. No real opportunity for upward movement or promotion.
