Pros

Florence hires well. The people who work here (middle management and below, at least) are smart, capable, creative, and kind. The mission to improve clinical trials is a noble one.

Cons

Bloated leadership hinders the progress of IC employees trying to get things done. Leaders are struggling to set priorities, and teams are siloed while company-wide goals are not communicated. Layoffs are quick and random, and not based on input, progress, or success - rather how much salary can be cut and added back to the runway. Remaining employees are overwhelmed and uncertain about their future and work. It’s concerning that leadership and HR are still boasting SWAG and company travel while teams are halved in layoffs. The fact that workers have raised concerns about burnout and yet support for projects that are all listed as priory #1 is being cut is confusing. Recent product releases have been dysfunctional and received very poorly by customers. Proceed with caution.

Cons

-Low team morale and trust because of rotating door of sales and marketing leaders -High degree of burnout for talented people -Many aren’t motivated because they’ve had so many different managers -Strained sales/marketing relationship because demand gen leader lacks industry knowledge and influence - Lack of AI talent on engineering team
